We traditionally think of vegetable gardening as an annual activity to be begun afresh every year, but how about overlooked edibles which keep going year after year? Join Hayley Young for a look at perennials to grow in the vegetable garden such as asparagus, rhubarb and globe artichokes. This session will look at how to get your perennials established as successfully as possible, how to care for them and when and how to harvest.
