Threave is a teaching garden with a very wide range of attractions - something to interest every gardener, in fact. It has been developed since 1960 with the needs of students at the School of Horticulture, garden-owners and tourists all in mind. There are over 200 daffodil cultivars to admire in spring; roses and colourful herbaceous borders in summer; and good autumn colour. A new Victorian-style conservatory has recently been built in the walled garden. |
