Scotland CPD Update

Through the Campaign for School Gardening Scottish development officer Angela Smith has been up to North Kessock Primary near Inverness to deliver CPD to teachers wishing to advance their school garden to a higher benchmarking level. Now that the RHS have a team in place North of the border we are looking to increase the amount of CPD and training delivered to teachers, schools signing up to the Campaign in Scotland and encourage schools to work through the school gardening bench marking levels. Topics for CPD training include encouraging wildlife into your school garden and a beginners guide into growing in your school, these workshops link effectively to the eco school framework and the curriculum for excellence.

If you are interested in CPD and training or wish to nominate your school as a venue to host workshops please contact scotland@rhs.org.uk with your details.
