Benchmark Scheme

Register your school to gain access to the benchmarking scheme. This has five levels and at each level further resources are available to help you develop your gardening in school. As you achieve each level in the scheme, you will get an award and certificate.

Why use the benchmarking?

The benchmarking is a scheme of good practice in gardening. By using it you can see how to develop your teaching using the school garden. There are five levels:-

  • Planning
  • Getting started
  • Growing and diversifying
  • Sharing best practice
  • Celebrating with the wider community

Each level has information and resources attached to support you in growing plants and developing gardening at you school.
