How to run your GYGG event
In this section you will find a range of activities to help Get Your Grown-ups Growing. We would recommend that you make the event as light-hearted as possible and include a range of activities for children and adults.
Before the big GYGG event 2010 at Meadowside Community Primary School
It could also be a good idea to provide some food and drinks (maybe the PTA could get involved in this), especially if people are working hard for a long time – and for a bit of fun, a raffle or competition might encourage more families to attend. You may even choose to limit the number of children and adults involved during school time and then hold a bigger event after school finishes to which a larger number of grown-ups can be invited.Click on an activity below to find out more:All-weather activities Outdoor activities Outdoor activities that need an area of ground Staging a gardening show Games and quizzes Activities from our sponsorsActivities from participating schools Useful links
