Netherfield Action Team (NEAT) have been raising funding to deliver a free cotton bag to every household in Netherfield, in order to replace the 500,000 plastic bags that get used there every year! They have worked really hard to gain funding.....and now the bags have arrived, yipeee!
NEAT would be extremely grateful for volunteers to help deliver these bags on the launch day of Saturday 8 November at 9.30am at The Loco Centre, Victoria Road, Netherfield (opposite the playground). The local MP and hopefully some Councillors will be there at the start, along with local media and hopefully your good self if you are free. They are providing a buffet lunch for people who've helped deliver the bags, courtesy of the Coop.
