Twilight Training

Free Spring Term Twilight Training

The RHS Campaign for School Gardening has a Regional Advisor working with Partner Schools throughout the Yorkshire and Humber area to develop teachers’ practical horticultural skills, assist the development of school gardens and embed the rewarding practical activities that children enjoy so much into the curriculum whilst encouraging healthy eating and a love of the green environment.

If you are a Teacher, teaching assistant, parent helper or governor we would like to invite you and your colleagues to the training session to be held at your nearest Partner School. This training is free and will include practical advice from John Hickling, the Regional Advisor, to assist you to develop gardening in your school.

Topics to be covered
• Creating and using a wildlife garden
• The vegetable garden in spring (including practical activities)
• What other schools are doing
