A new report launched by the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) has found that gardening in schools can help even the most vulnerable of children maintain their place within society.
RHS SEN Schools Project 2009/2010 Report
This report provides an overview of the project and highlights many of the benefits that gardening can bring to both SEN pupils and their teachers.

These case studies demonstrate different gardening techniques and practices in SEN schools.
An activity to gather a selection of seed catalogues and get pupils to look through and draw up a list of what they would like to grow. This acitvity comes with instructions and score cards.
