Fl. 130mm wide; perianth and other petaloid segments in several whorls; the outer whorls broadly ovate, blunt, spreading, plane, with margins narrowly incurling, with midrib showing, of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner whorls successively shorter and more strongly inflexed towards centre, crumpled or folded inwards from midrib; corona segments half the length of and narrower than the outer petaloid segment and interspersed among the inner petaloid whorls, lightly frilled.
