Fl. 56mm wide; perianth segments 25mm long, very broadly ovate, truncate, mucronate, orange (19D), spreading, plane, with margins a little incurved, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half or more; the inner segments narrower, more nearly ovate, scarcely mucronate; corona 4mm long, disc to bowl-shaped, ribbed, vivid orange (28B), mouth flared and lightly frilled, with rim dentate.
