Description |
Fl. 105mm wide, forming a double triangle, facing upwards; perianth segments 37mm long, ovate, rounded at apex, mucronate, brilliant yellow 7A, spreading, concave, with margins incurling, with midrib showing, of heavy substance, separated; the inner segments narrower; corona 40mm long, split to half its length into six segments, each overlying and a little larger than the perianth segments, somewhat inflexed, broadly ribbed, bi-lobed, with lobes overlapping, vivid yellow 12A, with rim wavy to lightly frilled, minutely crenate. Early. Strongly scented |
