Fl. 63mm wide; perianth segments 25mm long, very broadly ovate, rounded at apex, slightly mucronate, bright yellow, spreading, concave, with margins a little incurling, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half or more; the inner segments narrower, shouldered at base, blunt at apex, scarcely mucronate; corona 14mm long, cup-shaped, smooth, bright yellow, deeper in tone towards the rim, mouth straight and wavy, with rim crenate.
