Description |
Fl. 105mm wide; perianth segments 40mm long, roundish, very broad, truncate, slightly mucronate, opening white, becoming light yellow at maturity, a little reflexed, plane or with margins incurved, with midrib showing and of heavy substance, overlapping half or more; the inner segments narrower, more nearly spreading, shouldered at base, blunt at apex, scarcely mucronate; corona 19mm long, split to base forming an inner and an outer whorl of three segments, each closely overlying and a little narrower than the perianth segments, orange-pink, deeper in tone towards the rim, heavily frilled. Mid-season. Strongly scented |
