Fl. forming a double triangle, 83mm wide, facing upwards; perianth segments 31mm long, broadly ovate, blunt or sometimes truncate, yellow with slight pale mucro, spreading, plane, with midrib showing, of heavy substance, overlapping one-third; the inner segments narrower, ovate, blunt, shouldered at base; corona 25mm long, funnel-shaped, slightly ribbed, mouth straight and frilled, with rim notched.
