Fl. forming a double triangle, 81mm wide, facing upwards; perianth segments 32mm long, broadly ovate, blunt, spreading, concave, creased and of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments narrower, shouldered at base; corona 30mm long, funnel-shaped, smooth, mouth a little expanded, broadly ribbed, lobed, lightly frilled, with rim flanged and crenate.
