Fl. 92mm wide; perianth and other petaloid segments 30mm long, in two or more whorls; the outer whorls ovate, blunt, slightly mucronate, spreading, plane or with margins incurved, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments narrower, slightly inflexed; the corona segments 20mm long, interspersed among the inner perianth segments, becoming shorter, more strongly inflexed and clustered towards centre, slightly frilled or crumpled.
