Fl. forming a double triangle, 33mm wide; perianth segments 13mm long, oblong, blunt, prominently mucronate, brilliant greenish yellow 5A, spreading, plane, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping a quarter; the inner segments ovate, narrower, less prominently mucronate; corona 11mm long, funnel-shaped, lightly ribbed, brilliant greenish yellow 5B, mouth lightly frilled, deeply six-lobed, with rim flanged and minutely crenate.
