Fl. star-shaped, 87mm wide, facing downwards; perianth segments 42mm long, oblong, blunt, mucronate, white, reflexed, plane, smooth and of heavy substance, separated; the inner segments a little narrower, scarcely mucronate; corona 29mm long, narrow funnel-shaped, angled, brilliant yellow 11A, mouth straight and wavy, with rim notched.
