Fls 3 per stem, 60mm wide; perianth and other petaloid segments in two whorls, 25mm long; the outer whorl broadly ovate, blunt, mucronate, brilliant yellow 7A, spreading, plane or with margins incurved, with midrib showing, of membranaceous substance, overlapping to half; the inner whorl slightly inflexed, less prominently mucronate; corona segments in several whorls, 15mm long, interspersed among the inner perianth segments, a little darker in tone than brilliant yellow 7A, folded from midrib or slightly crumpled, with margins incurling and wavy. Mid-season. Sweetly scented |
