Fl. rounded, 115mm wide; perianth and other petaloid segments in three or more whorls, brilliant greenish yellow 5A; the two outer whorls roundish, very broad, blunt, spreading, plane, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half or more; the inner whorls narrower, more nearly ovate, successively more strongly inflexed towards centre, concave or folded inwards along midrib; corona segments half the length of the outer petaloid segments, interspersed among the inner petaloid segments and clustered at centre, orange (17B\C), folded inwards along midrib, wavy.
