Fl. forming a double triangle, 85mm wide; perianth segments 35mm long, roundish, very broad, blunt or truncate, yellow, with white towards base and pale mucro, spreading, plane, with margins incurling, creased and of heavy substance, overlapping half or more; the inner segments narrower; corona 30mm long, funnel-shaped, angled, white, with pink towards rim, mouth flared and frilled, with rim shallowly notched.
