Description |
Fl. 80mm wide, facing upwards; perianth and other petaloid segments 30mm long, light greenish yellow 4C/D, in several whorls; the outer whorl roundish, very broad, blunt, scarce pale mucro, reflexed, concave or with margins incurved, with midrib showing, of membranaceous substance, overlapping half or more; the inner segments more nearly plane; the inner whorls successively shorter, narrower and more strongly inflexed towards the centre, concave or folded inwards along midrib; corona segments 12mm long, vivid yellow 9A, with a broad band of strong orange N25B at rim, interspersed among the centre-most perianth segments, folded or crumpled.
