Fl. 90mm wide; perianth and other petaloid segments in several whorls; the outer whorl 38mm long, roundish, very broad, blunt, orange-yellow (13B), spreading, concave, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half or more; the inner whorls ovate, successively shorter and more strongly inflexed towards centre, concave or folded inwards from midrib; corona segments 10mm long, vivid orange 28B, clustered among centre-most perianth segments, frilled, with rim crenate.
