Description |
Fls 2 per stem, forming a double triangle, 78mm wide; perianth segments 32mm long, broadly ovate, deep golden yellow, touched white at base, prominent pale mucro, spreading, concave, with margins incurling, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping one-third to half; the inner segments narrower, scarcely mucronate; corona 16mm long, funnel-shaped, smooth, buff yellow, sometimes becoming paler at maturity, mouth straight and wavy, with rim entire.
