Fl. forming a double triangle, 88mm wide; perianth segments 34mm long, roundish, very broad, blunt or truncate, mucronate, deep golden yellow, spreading, plane, with margins incurved, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping more than half; the inner segments narrower, more nearly ovate, somewhat concave; corona 8mm long, bowl-shaped, smooth, deep orange-red, mouth expanded, ribbed and wavy, with rim minutely crenate. Mid-season to late |
