Description |
Fl. 95mm wide; perianth and other petaloid segments in several whorls; the outer two whorls very broadly ovate, blunt, yellow, with white mucro, spreading, shallowly concave, smooth and of membranaceous substance, overlapping half or more; the inner whorls successively shorter and more strongly inflexed towards centre, more deeply concave or folded along midrib; corona segments 45mm long, in several whorls, white, almost as long as and interspersed among the inner perianth whorls, frilled, crenate and sometimes bi-lobed.
