Fl. star-shaped, 25mm wide; perianth segments 11mm long, narrowly ovate, blunt, yellow, with pale mucro, spreading, plane or with margins slightly incurved, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping a quarter; the inner segments narrower, scarcely mucronate; corona 3mm long, broad disc-shaped, smooth, yellow, mouth straight, even and six-lobed, with rim entire.
