Fl. forming a double triangle, 98mm wide; perianth segments 42mm long, broadly ovate, blunt, mucronate, brilliant greenish yellow 6C, spreading, plane, with margins incurling, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments narrower, scarcely mucronate, shouldered at base; corona 11mm long, bowl-shaped, ribbed, vivid yellow 14A, with a narrow band of light orange 23A at rim, mouth ribbed and frilled, with rim crenate.
