Fl. forming a double triangle, 113mm wide; perianth segments 44mm long, roundish, very broad, blunt, deep yellow, with white mucro, spreading, plane or with margins slightly incurved, with midrib showing, of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments narrower, more nearly ovate, shouldered at base; corona 47mm long, cylindrical, smooth, deep yellow, mouth ribbed, wavy and a little expanded, with rim shallowly notched.
