Description

Fl. forming a double triangle, 85mm wide; perianth segments 31mm long, very broadly ovate, blunt, mid-yellow, with whitish mucro, spreading, plane, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments narrower, scarcely mucronate, a little inflexed, shouldered at base, with margins a little incurved; corona segments 23mm long, split almost to base into six segments, each closely overlying and a little narrower than the perianth segments, forming an inner and an outer whorl of three, yellow, bi-lobed, with lobes sometimes overlapping, with rim minutely crenate. Early to mid-season
