Description

Fl. forming a double triangle, 75mm wide; perianth segments roundish, very broad, blunt, pale lemon-yellow, with slight, whitish mucro, spreading, plane, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments narrower, shouldered at base, scarcely mucronate; corona segments 14mm long, split almost to base into six segments, each closely overlying and a little narrower than the perianth segments, forming an inner and an outer whorl of three, sometimes shallowly bi-lobed, deep yellow, wavy and notched. Standard (variable, sometimes dwarf). Early to mid-season
