Fl. forming a double triangle, 132mm wide; perianth segments 55mm long, broadly ovate, blunt, mucronate, opening white, touched yellow at base, maturing to white, spreading, plane or with margins incurling, creased, with midrib showing, of membranaceous substance, overlapping half; the inner segments narrower; corona 50mm long, funnel-shaped, smooth, opening intense orange-yellow, maturing to yellow, mouth flared, frilled and lobed, with lobes overlapping, rim minutely crenate.
