Fl. star-shaped, 67mm wide, facing downwards; perianth segments 28mm long, ovate or oblong, blunt, white, touched green at base, prominently mucronate, spreading or a little reflexed, plane or wavy, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping a third to a half; the inner segments narrower, less prominently mucronate; corona 20mm long, cylindrical, angled, orange, a little paler towards base, mouth expanded, wavy and broadly ribbed, with rim crenate.
