Fl. star-shaped, 41mm wide, facing upwards; perianth segments 17mm long, oblong, rounded at apex, brilliant greenish yellow 5A, with pale prominent mucro, spreading, plane, with margins slightly incurved at apex, with midrib showing, of heavy substance; the inner segments scarcely mucronate; corona 20mm long, cylindrical, slightly constricted at waist, smooth, vivid yellow 9A, mouth wavy and narrowly flared, with rim dentate.
