Fl. 100mm wide; perianth segments 42mm long, roundish, very broad, yellow, touched white at base and with pale mucro, spreading, plane, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments narrower; corona 44mm long, cylindrical, smooth, yellow, mouth flared, broadly ribbed and lightly frilled, with rim crenate.
