Description |
Fl. forming a double triangle, 98mm wide; perianth segments 35mm long, roundish, very broad, blunt, mucronate, white, spreading, plane or with margins incurved, a little creased, of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments narrower, ovate, scarcely mucronate, somewhat shouldered at base; corona 18mm long, split almost to base into six segments, each closely overlying a perianth segment, forming an outer and inner whorl of three, bi-lobed, almost as wide as the inner segments, deep pinkish red, a little lighter in tone towards rim, wavy and crenate.
