Fls rounded, 3 per stem, 50mm wide; perianth segments 15mm long, ovate, rounded at apex, mucronate, vivid yellow 9A, slightly reflexed, concave, with margins incurling, smooth and of membranaceous substance, overlapping half; the inner segments narrower; corona 7mm long, split almost to base into six segments, each opposite, closely overlying and as wide as the perianth segments, sometimes bi-lobed, yellow 14A.
