Fl. 110mm wide, facing upwards; perianth segments 45mm long, roundish, very broad, blunt or truncate, slightly mucronate, reflexed, plane, with margins incurling, smooth and of membranaceous substance, overlapping half or more; the inner segments narrower, more nearly plane, scarcely mucronate; corona 13mm long, shallow bowl-shaped, ribbed, mouth expanded and lightly frilled, with rim crenate.
