Description |
Fl. rounded, 95mm wide; perianth and other petaloid segments in three or more whorls, yellow, with slight pale mucro; the two outer whorls 35mm long, very broadly ovate, rounded at apex, spreading, plane or with margins incurved, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half or more; the inner whorls successively narrower, shorter and more strongly inflexed towards centre; the inner petaloid segments concave or folded inwards along midrib; corona segments 20mm long, interspersed among inner petaloid whorls and clustered at centre, frilled.
