Fls 1-3 per stem, 65mm wide; perianth segments 27mm long, roundish, very broad, truncate or blunt, yellow with prominent pale mucro, spreading, plane, creased and of membranaceous substance, overlapping half or more; the inner segments narrower, more nearly ovate, with margins somewhat incurling, scarcely mucronate; corona 11mm long, split for more than half its length into six segments, each opposite and closely overlying a perianth segment, orange, bi-lobed, with lobes overlapping, frilled, with rim crenate.
