Fls (1-)2 per stem, forming a double triangle; perianths broadly ovate to roundish, blunt, mucronate, yellow, spreading, plane or with margins incurved, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half or more; the inner segments narrower; corona cup-shaped, smooth, opening strong orange, becoming yellow-orange at maturity, mouth wavy and a little expanded, with rim crenate.
