Description |
Perianth segments ovate, acute, slightly mucronate, spreading, plane or with margins incurved towards apex, with midrib showing and of heavy substance, overlapping half or more; the inner segments narrower; corona split almost to base into six segments, each overlying a perianth segment forming an outer and an inner whorl of three, two-thirds the length of and almost as wide as the perianth segments, ribbed, lightly frilled and bi-lobed, with lobes overlapping, margin entire.
