Fl. rounded, 83mm wide; perianth and other petaloid segments in several whorls, broadly ovate, blunt or truncate, light yellow, with pale mucro, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping more than half; the outer whorls spreading, plane or a little concave; the inner whorls inflexed, narrower and shorter, concave or with margins strongly folded inwards from midrib; corona segments interspersed among the inner petaloid segments, yellow, stronger in tone than perianth segments, concave or crumpled.
