Fl. rounded, 105mm wide; perianth segments 38mm long, roundish, very broad, blunt or truncate, mucronate, spreading, plane, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half or more; the inner segments scarcely mucronate, shouldered at base; corona 7mm long, cup-shaped, smooth, mouth expanded, ribbed, wavy and shallowly lobed, with rim crenate.
