Fl. rounded, 105mm wide, facing upwards; perianth and other petaloid segments in several whorls; the outer segments 47mm long, broadly ovate, rounded, mucronate, vivid yellow 9A, sometimes with orange-yellow along midrib, reflexed, twisted, with margins wavy, with midrib showing and of membranaceous substance, overlapping half or more; the inner segments 30mm long, orange-yellow (14A), strongly recurved; the inner whorls strongly inflexed, interspersed among corona segments, concave or folded inwards along midrib; the corona segments 35mm long, orange-yellow (14A), densely frilled. Mid-season. Strongly scented |
