Fl. forming a double triangle, 85mm wide, yellow; perianth segments 37mm long, broadly ovate, blunt, with scarce white mucro, a little reflexed, plane or with margins slightly incurved, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments narrower, more nearly spreading, shouldered at base; the corona 37mm long, funnel-shaped, angled, mouth straight, even and lightly frilled, with rim minutely crenate.
