Fl. rounded, 63mm wide; perianth segments 23mm long, roundish, clear butter yellow, slightly reflexed, plane, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments slightly narrower, shouldered at base; corona 19mm long, funnel-shaped, smooth, medium clear pink, becoming lighter in tone at maturity, mouth expanded and wavy, with rim crenate.
