Description |
Fl. rounded, 105mm wide, facing upwards; perianth and other petaloid segments in several whorls, greenish white 150D, touched vivid yellow 4A along margins at base; the outer whorls 40mm long, broadly ovate, blunt, slightly mucronate, spreading, plane or with margins incurved, with midrib showing, creased and of membranaceous substance, overlapping half or more; the inner whorls successively shorter and more strongly inflexed towards centre, folded or strongly wavy, scarcely mucronate; corona segments 30mm long, in several whorls, vivid yellow 9A; outer whorls interspersed among inner perianth segments; inner whorls clustered at centre, frilled and minutely crenate. Mid-season. Strongly scented |
