Fl. star-shaped, facing downwards; perianth segments ovate, truncate or blunt, scarcely mucronate, lemon yellow, with a broad band of white at base, reflexed, plane, with margins incurved or somewhat twisted, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping a quarter; the inner segments a little narrower, more nearly plane; corona narrow funnel-shaped, smooth, white, with a very narrow band of lemon yellow at rim, mouth straight and broadly ribbed, with rim notched.
