Description |
Fl. 97mm wide; perianth and other petaloid segments in three whorls, yellow (602, HCC 1942); the outer whorl 42mm long, broadly ovate, blunt, with slight and pale mucro, spreading, plane or somewhat twisted, with midrib showing, of membranaceous substance, overlapping half or more; the inner whorls 37mm long, narrower, shouldered at base, becoming shorter and more strongly inflexed towards the centre; the innermost perianth segments very much narrower, interspersed among the corona segments, frilled or wavy; corona segments 32mm long, inflexed, clustered at centre, orange (5, HCC 1942), narrower than perianth segments, frilled or wavy, irregularly lobed.
